Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14
Thanks this was beautiful!!
Who am i that You delight in my foolish and selfish ways
The Creator of the heavens and the earth delights in the ways of mere dust
You dedicate Your Being to loving Me
Who am i that you dedicate Your Eyes to watching me every second lest i walk into the trap of the enemy
Your anger is stirred up against all my enemies
And out of the breath of Your nostrils, You consume them all
Out of the same breath, You breathe Life into my dust continually
You never let anything take me away from Your hands
Not life,death,angels or demons
You guard my heart with Your love
And even when You turn your face away and afflict me,
You let the depth of Your love keep me
That i may be refined to Your image by Your fire
In my faithlessness, You are faithful
In my hopelessness, You…

Hello Sisters and Brothers,
I have been a way for about a week now. With the passing of my father in-law this has been a week of self-reflection and a time to spend with family. Unfortunetly, death brings a lot of things in your life into full focus. The questions you ask yourself and the answers that God gives you! Do I spend enough time with the ones I love? Do I focus on family or do I neglect family? Is family at forefront of my decisions? Who are your friends in time of need? Is social media a tool to get the word out to family and freinds?
You may wonder did the lord answer those questions for me. Yes, he did and then some. I know who cares about me and my family and for me in my darkest hours here on earth and up above. This is not my home. During times like this people sometimes thing I won’t bother people during their time of grief, but what you may not realize is they need you to bother them during this time if only to drop a prayer of concern or love.
So, here is to all the people who never forget to call, or send an email, or even leave a message letting you know they really followers of God word and they care about you and your family as well.
1. Please pray for me – I did something to my neck/shoulder and it hurts to move my head or left arm. Must have strained a muscle or something.
2. One of my daycare families is having a hard time right now, both parents need jobs and they may have to move in with her parents if they don’t get them very soon. I told her to have faith cause My God is the miracle worker!
Thanks for praying with me! Love you!
I have a praise report on baby Peter – his surgery for the tethered spinal cord yesterday went very well! The doctors say it went just as planned and Peter is doing very good. Thank You Father, you are so Good to us!
We are on the mind of God. He cares about us 24/7. Every second of every minute of every day, you are on the mind of God. How refreshing and how reassuring it is to know that the Mighty God of all creation cares about little you and me.
We are reminded in Psalms 8 look up at the heavens and galaxies that He has created, to look at His handmade skies; to gaze upon the Moon and all the stars mounted in their settings. Then to look at our small human existence and wonder, why does He bother with us? Why does He take a second look our way? We read that even though we are mere mortals, He is mindful of us, and even though we human beings are minute in all of creation He cares about us.
We do have assurance that God will answer our prayers…

The song ‘The more i seek You’ by Kari Jobe and ‘How He Loves us’ written by John Mark Mcmillan have been a perfect description of what happens when we abide in the presence of God always and when God really shows us how much He loves us. The love of God to me is everything. Like Kim Walker from Jesus Culture said, ‘You will know when you’ve experienced the love of God because you never remain the same afterwards’. I’ll post a sort of combination of the lyrics of both songs and the lines that really mean a lot to me.
The more i seek You, the more i find You
The more i find You, the more i love You
Oh How He loves us jealously, How great his affections are for us
Love like a hurricane; I am a tree bending beneath the weight of His wind…

But let all who take refuge in You be glad, Let them ever sing for joy;
And may You shelter them, That those who love Your name may exult in You.
For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O LORD, You surround him with favor as with a shield. Psalm 5:11-12
For my family it is a bittter sweet day, my father-in law is very ill. I ask that you still keep hope and pray for the family for peace and comfort as we go through this time! Amen!! God is still the God that is able!!
A theme that has occupied quite a bit of my thinking the last few years is that of ‘identity and otherness’. It appears to me as if there is a universal need for human beings to have a clearly defined identity, hence we all ask ourselves who we really are? This endeavor into the realm of the deep existential questions is obviously not always conducted with rigor and intellectual sharpness but the problem of being–what it means to exist–are in one way or another dealt with by all of us.
In his book Multiculturalism: Examining the Politics of Recognition (Princeton University Press, 1994), the Canadian philosopher Charles Taylor explains that human identity is partly shaped by the recognition, or non recognition, of others. Basically this means that we’re all in need of other people to affirm our existence to understand ourselves as actual ‘beings’. If Taylor is right, and I believe that he is, this…
