In the distance,listen and you will hear his voice!!!

Jesus Wept

As the night looms and a new day will soon appear, I listen for the lord to speak. For a long time I waited and prayed for him to speak to me. What did I need to do was to learn how to listen for that “still ” voice of God!As we mature and read the word daily, pray in the spirit, and give him our all then we will hear his voice.Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.(James:4:10).

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 is one of my favorite verses.

So why don’t we seek him more. Why do we wait till we are in trouble and then try to find him. I did that  when before I was saved and in the beginning when I was a new Christian. I didn’t learn differently until I  started toreally prayed with all my heart in the Spirit. 

His touch was deep into my soul;for Jesus is a true gentlemen. It was not harsh or full of anger. The gentleness will bring you to be humbled…for there is no other experience like it. It is a love like no other love…it leaves you breathless and searching for more…what is that you say?? It is the love of the father when he fills your heart to overflowing!!

So, as you seek after a stronger and richer relationship with Jesus be prepared for the wave!!!Amen!!!

A Prayer!!!

During Bible study last night Pastor Kim share a prayer that we should all use. Whether we are praying for each other, family, friends, and yes even self. it in Ephesians3: 14-21 and Ephesians 4:1:-32

Ephesians 3:14-21

A Prayer for the Ephesians

14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family[a] in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge —that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Unity and Maturity in the Body of Christ

4 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called ; one Lord,one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. This is why it[a] says:

“When he ascended on high,
he took many captives
and gave gifts to his people.”[b]

(What does “he ascended” mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions[c]10 He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.) 11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

Instructions for Christian Living

17 So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. 18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. 19 Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed.

20 That, however, is not the way of life you learned 21 when you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. 22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self,created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

25 Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body. 26 “In your anger do not sin”[d]: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold. 28 Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need.

29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths,but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealedfor the day of redemption. 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ forgave you.

Living Water!!

He gives Living Water!

What a beautiful day that the lord has made for us all. I spent the day landscaping my home and looking around at the beauty of plants and flowers and how wonderful this will look when its done. I believe that what God thinks and knows about us who accept him; that we will be wonderful and beautiful when our mission on this earth is complete.

I have a new energy and final put out the patio furniture and still lots more to do….my husband has the huge garden going and we just set the sprinklers up as we wait for water. If we accept the lord we will have all the living water we need. What a wonderful God we serve who allows us to thirst no more…Amen!!
