Hello Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
I remember when I started the group on Facebook sistersforchrist and when God told me to move to this location and off of the Facebook. Many did not understand and did not want to follow. Then the page was opened up to the world and still others did not want to follow. God said that he would bring them. I wanted to lash out at people but, God said this is not for you it is for me.
So who am I to say lord I don’t agree with you, or there will only be a few members….I waited for a reply and he sure did give me one. He let me know that the people who stand by you through all your trials even if they don’t agree , will be the ones that will forever be by your side.
The trials came, lost of a love one, anger, depression and all of others and I was to be the support for them as others were for me. They were there to call ,text or send emails with words of encouragement.
One of my follow bloggers made a very valid argument that do people really pray for you when you are going through a trial on Facebook and other social media. Are you as Christian as you think you are? Do you only stand when you agree with a point or do do you stand when God tells you too? Do you know the difference? Do you know Gods voice? Do you stand when you will be persecuted by your fellow Christians? Really!! When do you stand?
You should be clear in your answer and look deep in your heat before you pass judgement.
7 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
6 “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.
“Whatever your task, work heartily, as serving the Lord and not men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward; you are serving the Lord Christ. For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality.” (Colossians 3:23-25)
Now for those who believe the change was wrong I will let God be the judge; for he was the author and has been.
