My night has been blessed so I will share those blessing with all of  you. As you sleep this night just think of the wonderful Savior that holds you in his arms and will never let you go. Have a blessed night!!!

Matthew 11:28-30

New International Version (NIV)

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Friends…All things Christian

When I became a Christian I thought that all Christians were sisters and brothers in Christ. As you mature in your walk you learn that not all Christians are they same. God will bring people in your life for a brief moment and at that time you are friends, but he will put others in your life for a lifetime in which you will experience a richer walk with the lord.

Each of us has or should have that Christian friend that is there during all the moments of your walk. You become friends and tell each other everything that is going on in your life. That means the good and the bad. You never offend each other and your very supportive of the others goals. You walk with the lord and when you are drifting they are there to give you a word that gets you back on track with the lord.

I have such a friend who was there before Christ and we will be together in Christ. She has been there during the bad, the good and the in between. I pray for each day and all the journeys that God takes her on. She is a woman after God’s heart. When he tells her to go she goes. She is there for others, day and night and when she wants to scream or lose her temper she talks to the father for guidance.

We had bible study last week and he gave her a word and it was truly for me in a time that was needed even though I had not mention what I was going through. And sometimes, I even have a word for her. Does everyone have a Christian friend like that? I don’t mean a spouse. I mean a friend. We all need that. That’s why we all need each other.

Finds a brother or sister after God’s heart and keep them in yours lives. Remember that even when God put people in your life for just a short time, he also puts others there for the long term and you will know the difference. they are like the message:

Thank you Kim For being that friend!!!

How to Follow Our Lord!!

A very bold statement that can be found in our bible that the lord has provided for us. How do we live a life and follow our Lord and Savior?  The book in the bible that gives you instructions on how to behave as a Christian in this world is “James.”

This can be considered the how-to book on Christian living. Confrontation, challenges, and a call to commitment . You will become a doer of the word. This book of the bible is same , but packed with lots of information to help you on the journey. There are also many here who will help you and pray with you and for you. So don’t wait! Read the book today and learn what it really means to walk the talk!!

James 1:22

I will follow him!!!

Jesus and the Twelve Disciples

Oh what a powerful statement that is. Twelve people dropped their lives and followed Jesus not even knowing how this would change or impact their lives. We in the United States have it good. We freely follow the lord without persecution for the most part. But we should soon realize this maybe changing.

There will soon come a time when we will persecuted as those in other countries. You can see it happening now all around us. Saving Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas, the Pledge Allegiance to the Flag removed from schools. I can go on but stories can be found all over the internet.

We see the pictures on the news and I can honestly say will I be able to stand on that day.

I will need the full armor of god to withstand the devil and what is coming our way. Because we do not know when the day or hour that the rapture or the lord will appear we are instructed to be prepare as if that were today!!

Let us not forget each other!!!

I was reading another blog of  fellow sister and she reminds us all not to forget to pray for each other. Let us not just involve ourselves in prayer for just the things we want but let us pray for the needs of our brothers, sisters and people from all over the world.

Genesis 4:9-19

King James Version (KJV)

And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?

The answer is yes! The lord see’s our hearts and knows what we do and say.

Le us be there for each other in times of need and in our everyday prayers. I want to pray more and be more than I am for the lord God. He provides so much for us each day and we should be giving thanks and praying for the things that he he holds dear and near.  I used to say that i was not my brothers keeper, but now that I know the lord I know this is not true. That doesn’t mean that I take on the world burdens but that I pray for the worlds burdens and let the lord do his will.

2 Chronicles 7:14

New International Version (NIV)

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humblethemselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgivetheir sin and will heal their land.
