Are you a Christian that finds that yourself becoming part of the world?
Hey guess what your not alone or by yourself. With high tech phones, computers and other gadgets we are all apart of the world, but you do with it determines if your doing the work of the world or the work of the lord!
Think about it…almost all have cell phones, ipads laptops, desktops, iphones, smart phones and everything else out there. We have all the tools we need to get the gospel to a world in need but are we doing that? Are we just about ourselves so we get burnout on Jesus just like a job? Answer is yes we do!!!
We get caught up just like everyone else, the difference is we know better than that.
Hebrews 13:8
New International Version (NIV)
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
I was reading another bloggers post, and she is Christian and finds that happening to her. This is not our home. We will not be staying here. Get your house in order. Stay focus and surround yourself with others who will bring things into perspective. Each day I look to the bible for guidence and I have a great friend who just happens to be a pastor who lets me know I’m human but also puts me on the track that God wants me on and teaches me to walk in love and not hate even when it is very easy to hate; I know it’s harder to love thy brother/sister.
There are also those times that you want to fit in and that was something that happened to me today and I realized when I got home that I don’t belong and never will. For a brief time that made me sad ,and then I remembered Jesus and were I do fit and why I fit!!! It was a wonderful feeling that the father gave me today that I am his I belong to him..Awesome!!!
The short of this is find a friend who doesn’t judge, but encourages and nurtures, and offers support when you find yourself getting wrapped up in this world and tell them your fears hopes and dreams and work it out for the Kingdom!! He’s waiting and he will never leave you!!
Isaiah 38
New International Version (NIV)
Hezekiah’s Illness
38 In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, “This is what the Lord says: Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover.”
