It’s amazes me even to this day that we think we have control! For the longest time I wouldn’t give my life fully to the Lord! Oh I thought I did once I was save, but let me tell you I didn’t. I was only kidding myself.
I would give God only half of myself. When I got laid off was the time that I stopped and looked at what the Lord was trying to teach me. That was when I started the sistersforchrist Facebook page and God reveal all things because I gave him control that I never had.
You may be thinking what does she mean by this? Well you never had control to begin with. The Lord always had it! And when you let go emotionally he will give you the desires of your heart and for you to follow his will for your life. That mean emotional, financially, physically, and spiritually.
What I’m saying is look at your life, is it where you need to be? If you answer no then look and see if you have released control to the father.
God always keeps his promises. Amen! Last year when I started the Sisterforchrist page on Facebook first, I told friends and fellow sisters that God had a plan for me and everyone else and it is not always for us to understand but to follow and trust in him. A lot of people were upset that the Facebook page closed and God wanted me to move over to this blog page. Most of the sisters did not follow.
He also told me that this would be the reaction and that he had a job for me that I wanted and that he needed me to do. So, I followed the lord’s command and friends and sisters were lost. But, the story doesn’t end there. I had the torn muscle, recovery, and anything the devil could throw at me. I trusted in the Lord! As I trusted he provided big time financially and spiritually, but the devil keep coming. But God is the God who keeps his promises.
Last weekend I was registering for classes and asking the lord what is your plan for me father? What direction shall I go? The phone rang from the dream job that I had applied to last year. Today I had my interview and was hired. So, if you believe that God doesn’t keep his promises I ‘ve got news for you. He keeps his word, but do we continue to keep the faith when we don’t see results that we want and follow his will for us!
It took God a year to get back to me and I kept the faith. I did what he told me to do and I kept the faith. The devil tried to redirect me , but I kept the faith. Are you struggle with this issues? Well don’t! Trust in the father will all your heart nd all your mine and he will deliver what you need and more!
New King James Version (NKJV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct[a] your paths.
Have you ever had a day that just makes you feel the way this picture talks about! Even when you feeling sore and tired; he is there! When your days seem to stand still and the world is not the place for you ;he is there.
If you day is awesome and everything is going your way and your cup runs over we happiness; look no further; he is there! Be blessed and highly favored this day dear brothers and sisters.
The Bible says the devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy in John 10:10, but Jesus said He came that we might have life to the full! Whatever the devil seeks to do to you, God has your “antidote” to the devil’s “poison”! The answer to the question can the devil rob you of your healing is yes. The devil will take anything you will allow him to have! Notice I did not say God will allow, but that WE will allow.
Oral Roberts did a study one year. He noticed about 90 percent of all people who were getting healed, less than a year later were sick with the same thing again. He began to do some research. He found the ones that did not stay healed had taken back their diseases by letting symptoms talk them out of believing they were healed. The other 10 percent had…
What a wonderful God we serve. I could never think of anything that gives me such joy! A father who always forgives and is always there when we need him. What can you say that
hasn’t been said before. What can be said about a father who brings others together to help here on earth with the trials and tribulations.
What can we say about a father who wants to just love us and protects us! A father who only ask for so little from us.
New International Version (NIV)
13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
16 My dear brothers and sisters, don’t be fooled. 17 Every good present and every perfect gift comes from above, from the Father who made the sun, moon, and stars. The Father doesn’t change like the shifting shadows produced by the sun and the moon.—James 1:16-17(God’s Word Translation)
My ministry is grounded in helping Believers strengthen their walk with God, and I mainly write with this in mind and purpose. Often, I hear people say that whatever they are ‘going through’ is the will of God and I beg to differ. What we often go through or experience, in my opinion, is not the Will of God but it is due to the sin that is in this world…God is good!
For I was born a sinner— yes, from the moment my mother conceived me—Psalm 51:5(New Living Translation)
